This puzzle highlights the stunning images of Whitby Harbour's skyline, which is dominated by the ruins of St. Hilda’s Abbey, high on the East Cliff. Down below, a maze of alleyways and narrow streets run to the busy quayside. St Mary’s, whose churchyard gave Bram Stoker inspiration to write his novel Dracula, can also be seen.

The 636 piece jigsaw puzzle is the same width as a standard 1000 piece but not as tall. As with all Gibsons Jigsaw Puzzle, the beautifully illustrated pieces are made from the highest quality 100% recycled board and are therefore a pleasure to work with again and again.

John Wood began his artistic career as an oil painter in his home state of Oregon. John's paintings often depict intense memories of big skies, the mountains, valleys and colours of the west, inspired by this frequent travels from his home in Maine to the Pacific Northwest and the Rocky Mountain states. In addition to his painting career, John's passion is to preserve the environment and the beauty of the unspoiled landscape. He has won numerous awards for road and triathlon racing.
