The Semperfli Chadwicks 477 Wool substitute has been developed by Semperfli to replicate as close as possible to the classic Sawyer Bug tying wool as originally used by Frank Sawyer. It comes as a three ply making tying of the nice thick Sawyer Killer Bug a doddle. However to perfectly replicate the original Killer Bug simply split the 477 Substitute from three ply to one and it matches even the diameter of the original 477.
The Semperfli series of wool includes four shades as the Semperfli Perfect Shrimp Wool, the Semperfli Oliver Edwards Rhyacophila Wool Substitute, the Semperfli Caddis Wool, and the Semperfli Chadwicks 477 Wool substitute. To create a Sawyer Killer Bug try also the classic Partridge Trout Sproat Wet hook and the Semperfli Wire 0.2 mm in Copper colour.
