The outer fabric is H2No™ Performance Standard: 4 layers of 197 g / m² microfiber twill of 100% polyester (55% recycled), with a waterproof and breathable barrier with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Two front pockets closed by water-repellent zips, ideal for holding fly boxes, a corrosion-resistant and waterproof YKK® front zip, all other zips are made of corrosion-resistant plastic and very resistant. The ergonomic and enveloping hood is adjustable with a single movement and is designed to remain stationary even when the boat is speeding by. It has adjustable cuffs which when closed become watertight. The sliding housing of the elastic cord in the hem is in draining net to eliminate excess water in case of immersion. Finally, the seams are made with Fair Trade Certified™ certification.
All these characteristics are describing what is surely the most resistant and performing shell in the Patagonia catalog! To complete a bombproof outfit, we recommend the Patagonia Swiftcurrent Waders.
