The Ribble river is a legendary flyvfishing river of the Yorkshire Dales with a prolific population of brown trout, grayling and unusually for the Yorkshire Dales, including Atlantic salmon and sea run trout. The Ribble river is very rich in benthic fauna and offers excellent hatches throughout the season.
